Saturday we went to a Farewell party for a friend of ours who is heading to Iraq.

i was dismayed to put this cute outfit on Kylee this morning, only to find that this 6-9 mo outfit is too tight for her :( she wore it, but it'll be the last and only time she does.
yesterday Miss Kylee was a cuddler, still has a fever isnt her shirt cute?

Kylee fell asleep today while she was eating rice cereal. yes, that is a santa on her bib...its laundry day and this is the only bib i could find

this morning Kylee rolled off the rug to get to Nash and pull his hair

Kylee has had a fever the past few days and has another tooth coming in. She's not taking this one well at all :(
although its not all bad because it means she wants to cuddle all day!

She loves freezies...thats the only sugar she gets so far

Happy Father's day to all you dads out there! Especially my daddy :) (he's the best) Dad, my favorite memories of you are fishing in MN with you, watching football with you, and driving back from Grandma Johnston's house in the Uhaul (remember singing oldies together all night?)

Mount Tantalus

So today I suprised Josh with a Father's Day picnic. Since we have plans tomorrow, I wanted to do something for him today.

We went to Mount Tantalus, probably the most amazing place I have seen yet on Oahu. It takes about twenty minutes to get up the mountain, through VERY curvy roads, but as you can see, the view is worth it. You can see half the island from up here. Plus they have an area to picnic in and enjoy the view at the same time.

Happy Fathers Day Babe! You are an incredible father and I cant wait to watch our kids grow up with you as a father! Some of the best parts of my day are when you and Kylee laugh together :)

Today I took Kylee to the base pool, which has a pool for big kids and a toddler pool. I didnt get any pictures though because Josh wasnt there. She did okay in the toddler pool, but once I tried the big kid pool, she loved it. She laughed and jumped around and splashed the entire time. I honestly think it was my favorite hour with her so far.

Yesterday we introduced a sippy cup with just water in it to Kylee. Its the first time she has had water, too.
Not happy with it at all!

Today I gave her the same cup, this time with water and a little bit of apple juice. I had to keep drinking out of the cup, once she watched me she would try it.

Baby Kylee rolling around yesterday to get to Nash. I'm still not positive on how he feels about her, but boy does her face light up when she sees him.

my little tired baby. she's been fussy and drooling a ton the past two days so we are wondering if tooth number three is coming in.

I had to post this video of Kylee scooting around. She is somewhat crawling on her stomach, but mostly she gets around on her back. Its so funny and cute to watch.

Yesterday while I was making dinner I put Kylee in her exersaucer and she fell asleep

and then...I was talking on the phone with Grammy while I was feeding Kylee and she grabbed the bowl, so i let her play with the bowl (still full of rice cereal)

At a going away party at the beach on saturday, Kylee was content to lay on the Vikings blanket and roll/scoot everywhere

the beach is primarily for surfing, so thats what Josh did. for the first time. he really liked it.

We are dog sitting Campbell this week for a neighbors. Nash and Campbell have had lots of fun.
