Swimming with Nash
Okay...here is my baby swimming......he is so spoiled~! We are getting a bigger pool though....this one isnt big enough for him to create havoc. He likes to run and slide.....
you know what. just go ahead and say it. i look like that and i'm not quite 6 months along? i dont know what is up. i've even begun eating healthy and working out. finally, the nausea has slowed down enough so i can stomach eating healthy! and i'm still that size. maybe its just me getting used to being pregnant.......
Nash is totally a water dog, if you havent seen him in action. he will stay in water constantly if we let him. he runs and plays and splashes people and dunks himself. its awesome. hopefully we are going to take him to the ocean this weekend. Anyways, here is him playing....and the pictures look all weird because Josh is standing behind a screen taking pictures. He wasnt in a swimming mood. Like I said, if you are in the AO, Nash will soak you.

Hawaii Pictures
I promised pictures so here are pictures. Most of these were taken a few weekends ago, when we got adventurous and drove out to one side of the island to see what we could find.

Us right when we got to the beach. I know, I know, we are a unbelievably cute couple and we are destined to have an amazingly beautiful baby.
While driving on the coastline we broke down and had to stop to go swimming. It was all too beautiful to simply just take pictures of. The water is so clear when you get in you can see your toes.
I broke down and bought a bikini since I see lots of women here pregnant with bikinis. When in Rome........
As beautiful as this beach is, the waves are actually really violent. We swam here for a few hours but ended up leaving because the water was rough.
These next two were taken while we drove to Hanama Bay to go snorkeling. As you can see, the coast here is breathtaking.
Another picture taken of beautiful Hawaiin scenery.
This picture was taken one of our last nights in Waikiki, at a place called Senior Frogs. The atmosphere is incredible, and we had one of our best nights so far here.
The picture taken below is Hanama Bay. This is the most popular place to go snorkeling. We were there for an entire afternoon, and we saw tons of fish. I really cant even explain it. We even swam next to a huge sea turtle and swam alongside it for awhile. And for those of you scared of the ocean (I was) its relatively shallow and the "safe" swimming/snorkeling areas are bouyed off, we stayed in this area. That was at my urging.

Baby Pictures
Here are the sonogram pictures......as you can see, this one is our little girl's head. We got a total of five pictures in all but some of them arent that good. If you havent heard about the ultrasound it took about 45 minutes to complete. First, the good Doc wanted pictures of the baby's heart...So the baby put her left hand on her heart. no pictures. Then the Doc wanted pics of the baby's head. So the baby put her left hand on her head. no pictures. Then she stuck her fist in her mouth. Finally, it took the full 45 minutes, really, to get her to show us her gender. But alas...she did.
This next one is the baby's brain, and she is looking at us. It's amazing all the things you can see on an ultrasound these days! We actually could see the four chambers of the heart. I want an ultrasound machine!!!!!!!!

Its a Girl!!!!!!!!!!
We found out Thursday that we are expecting a baby girl, my due date is end Nov/early Dec (they keep changing my due date). We couldnt be happier. I know Josh hasnt stopped smiling since we found out (and you thought he had a big smile when I walked down the aisle!) and I am already working on decorating the baby's room. Think Pink. Grandpa Johnston shared with us just how special little girls are (sniffle) and daddy is already worried about how his spoiling his daughter will affect his checkbook. lol. Men are such suckers for little baby girls, right!
I know you all want to see Hawaii and preggo pics. I will post those this weekend. In the meantime, its great to be back online and enjoy your weekend. And FYI, love to hear from all of you, just remember Hawaii is five hours behind central time, three behind Arizona.
