Last Weekend

Last weekend we went to a friend's kids' birthday party, and I found the place where I want to do Lexi's first birthday party. Its awesome the park has a pool, a huge playground, a big covered pavilion and lots of room for a bouncy house or waterslide and for the kids to run around.

I found this picture just today, apparently Josh took the camera with him on the slide.
Lexi chillin in the shade
Kylee trying to play baseball
Josh teaching Kylee how to use a water fountain
this slide is huge! i thought Kylee would be afraid to go down it but she wasnt at all.

going down the slide...

Grammy bought this toy for Kylee for her birthday. it actually attaches to a carseat or stroller and because Kylee loves any type of wheel, this is perfect for her. even Lexi loves it!

Kylee had her first sleepover the other night. and what is a sleepover without a movie, juice and popcorn?
havin fun in the bath!
the neighbor girl Peyton was over as well, she's a few months older than Lexi.
sister Kisses!
look at her cute little outfit :)

Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years Eve! I'm finally done working at the post office so hopefully will be posting more often.

Christmas at the Drill Hall

Kylee all dressed up to go see Santa. We went to my holiday Army party at the reserve center.

Here's Santa!
Once she found those candy canes...it was over.
Kylee's not a big fan of Santa so Josh had to stay with her.
Lexi did great, though!
We finally got Kylee up there when she realized Santa was holding Lexi and Lexi was fine.
Awwww!
Many more pictures to come!

Kylee's 2nd Birthday - Chuck E Cheese

All set to go to Kylee's 2nd Birthday Party! Thanks Auntie Christy and Martha for the Birthday shirt :)
One long table was all ours!
She got a birthday balloon, which 10 days later is still inflated. Love it!
And of course, lots of games she could play
Kylee's elmo birthday cake
eating some pizza!

Daddy and 'lil sis
of course Kylee had to play on the phone game

Kylee with her inflatible birthday crown, blowing out candles
the crew singing Happy Birthday
high five Chucky Cheese!
and then as a special birthday girl Kylee and Daddy went in the ticket blaster

We got like 700 tickets out of the deal (Josh is catching them in his shirt as they blast up) but poor Birthday Girl Kylee hated it
Afterwards with the loot
Our friend Sarah and miss Kylee
Our own Birthday Host for the night, cut the cake and everything! I barely had to do anything but show up, awesome! Since I've been working the last two months, I highly recommend a Chuck E Cheese party to any working parents, they really do almost everything for you.
mmmm...one of the best cakes i've ever had

look at my sweetheart sharing her cake with me. i didnt even have to ask.
baby Lexi needed some Momma time
more games
and of course, what would be a night out in public with a toddler without at least one tantrum?
love this one. This is McKenzie grubbin on some cake

This Chuck E Cheese had everything. They had a toddler area so that was great, but many of the big kid games Kylee loved as well
this was mostly what Kylee did. They had like 15 driving games and that was what she wanted to do all night

Lexi did so great. In her carseat chillin for most of the party

Thank you everyone who sent gifts and cards. Thank you notes are coming I promise!

I cant believe Kylee is 2. We started this blog when I was about 15 weeks pregnant...time really does fly. I wish it would slow down, but I'm so grateful I've had the opportunity to stay at home with my children and enjoy them. We really missed our family and close friends at this party but we made the best of it!
