Park, Rock Band and Hiking in Arizona

We got to see two cousins play on the same team, Landen and Blake. It was a lot of fun to watch their baseball game. Cant wait to do stuff like that with my kids!
What's a baseball game without a blanket and snacks? Lucas, Kylee and baby Lela

Aunt Samantha and a very happy Lexi!

We all love playing Rock Band. Kylee's sleep schedule was all messed up so she was usually up late at night when the adults played Rock Band. Daddy was so nice to let her sing with him!

Lexi and 2nd cousin Geoff. He is so good with kids!

Josh and I went hiking with Samantha one day. Josh and Samantha used to hike all the time in high school so it was cool to do it with them. I thought I was in pretty good shape but that hike was hard!

Posers!

A picture of the awesome hikers, thanks to camera timers!

it was really pretty

love the view :)

my crazy husband...of course has to climb the hard way, not go around

taking a break

my wonderful sister in law and hiking guide, Samantha

Wanna know where we hiked? See the point between Josh and Samantha, all the way at the top? Yup, thats where we hiked.

AZ was awesome and I cant wait to go back!

Arizona Trip, March 2011

In March we went to Arizona to visit Josh's Grandfather who was very sick. The journey was supposed to take us 8 hours...it ended up taking 33. Thanks US Airways for a stellar trip and lots of hassles along the way! I'll never fly that airline again.

So anyways, we started the trip being super careful with Lexi crawling on the carpet. By the end, we did whatever we could to make her happy. I'm not complaining, though, my kids were troopers the whole time. I'm really proud of them. I dont think they ever shed a tear...and I almost did.
Of course, Kylee loves watching the planes. Here we are in Kauai (yes, where we just vacationed with mom and dad) stuck overnight because of a missing mechanical part.

They put us in the roach motel, our leaky ceiling and the room was moldy. Sigh...okay enough complaining. Anyways, Kylee loved playing on the phone.

And at the airport, Kylee endlessly played on these moving walkways

Finally, we arrived! Grandma feeding her little baby girl

Papa George's brother Dale teaching Lexi how to climb stairs. Geez our families are a terrible influence on our kids!

This is one of the first times ever that Kylee has worn a sweater. Josh and I bought it for Alaina when she was 2, and Wendy was kind enough to pass it back to us :)

Wings over Kauai

We took a small plane tour over kauai, 6 seater plane. They took pictures of us and gave us a CD afterwards
Guess who sat in the co-pilot seat?

Nope. I got the backseat.
Josh!
We flew over mostly the coastline
The pilot even flew over a popular whale spot and we saw whales breaching. It was beautiful. Of course, the pics didnt turn out.

Kauai is quite populated in some areas.

It will be awhile before I post again. My uncle and aunt, Ric & Jean, are here for a visit, and if all goes well I'm off to an Army school the next few weeks.
