Makapu'u Lighthouse

Last weekend we went to see this lighthouse, of course, with amazing scenery on the way. It was about a mile and half uphill hike.
we were able to take the stroller this time since its a paved hike, but it was a harder hike because its so steep

we kept telling Kylee "pretty" and she would look at everything

yes, they have cactus in hawaii. we were suprised, too

this is one of the highest points of the mountain/hike, you can see most of the eastern/southern portion of the island

This is the lighthouse we came to see! Unfortunately we werent able to get real close to see it, its closed off to the public. But the view up here was fabulous anyways!

Its really hard to see in this photo, but you can see the closest Hawaiin island to us, Molokai, in the background
